5-68: Thanks for filling in
Thanks everyone who sent me nice messages or backed the Patreon after the last post. It really does help a lot!
I’ve been under a lot of stress lately and it’s negatively affected my creative output but y’all are helping make it more bearable.
I love seeing your phenomenal character development! Also, totally random question: earlier when the group was discussing the possibility of Ian being a changeling, Gabry says “Sometimes the fair folk like to steal human babies. They leave one of their own as a replacement.” Does “one of their own” refer to a baby fairy or any fairy or an adult fairy or some other option? I was re-reading the archive and this question popped into my brain and now it’s following me around so I must ask.
Thanks! He was referring to a baby faerie. It\’s an equal exchange kind of thing.
Oh no, I thought of another question! What exactly is there for Ian to “remember” to make him change back? Are faerie babies more self-aware than human babies or have some innate sense of being fae or something, because I think my first memory is around age three.
He\’d have to remember his fae name, which would be an innate thing. This is why the park faerie got agitated when he said his name was Ian.
