Carmilla being a bureaucrat in addition to being a badass club owner is genuinely great. Less great: Rika apparently deciding that she’s immune to the law.
For some reason, I love the reason she was late. “I was re-lacing my corset.” Like, I am fab and in charge, deal with it.
“We” were relacing the corset. that’s not a one-person job!
Makes sense, running the main vampire interaction place seems like something a political figure would want to be doing.
