Oh hey sorry I’m posting this later than usual. Sundays are D&D for me.
I’m making some progress on the D&D inspired comic. I’m really excited to show it to y’all.

Oh, D&D inspired comics are usually fun. (Also please no exploding.)
Hmmm, if only they had someone nearby that could drain vast amounts of magical energy….
safely drain
but yes, this is a bit convenient.
…
And Ian will discover now that since his encounter with his “twin” he has become back a normal standard human
I don’t think so, after all, Ian was born a fairy. It was his “twin” who was human.
I know, I was joking a la murphy : a problem with a convenient solution, we thus need a pretext to remove said solution, preferably without cause or justification
Ian is, by all accounts, much less human than his twin, even accounting for the superhuman strength, hostility, and teleportation. What might be discovered is that having the human Ian in the pod was what allowed Fairy Ian to be so human. Clearly something magical was being done to that pod, as human Ian is not demonstrating the typical abilities or behaviour of a human who has been in a coma for their entire life. The changling process is very much an impersonation, and a direct linkage between the two Ians, perhaps one that granted human form to a fairy and leaked a lot of fairy magic into a human, and leaked a little bit of awareness and identity, would explain a great deal of what has been going on.
However, one would expect that if human Ian’s abilities were from being immersed in fairy magic, that fairy Ian would be able to teleport, rip cars apart, and track down his double, much better than human Ian can, which does not seem to be the case… Perhaps the abilities are a result of fairy magic strengthening natural human magical abilities that are normally too weak to effect?
But most likely these issues will all be answered with the passage of time…
Correct me if I am wrong, but can’t Gabry also drain energy?
He can, but if I remember correctly it hurts Nai’ka, so it may not be the best idea. Plus I think if he’d take too much energy on accident, Rei would die.
