The comments on the last page have been pretty interesting. I didn’t expect there to be so much debate.
Basically Sabine can always tell when Sven has a crush on somebody: which is all the time and on all sorts of people. They have time to pay attention by never developing crushes themself.
she is entirely uninterested in his attempts at flirting.
then again, she’s looking for a shooter so i guess wacky dating hijinks seem kinda weak.
I still can’t tell who’s being asked out/where the joke is xD I think he’s just being daft in saying “he’s probably not interested” xD
nope i think he is in fact bisexual/pansexual and is open to none monogamous relationships, no where has it been imploied he is either gay or straight, and for all we know the other two members of his band may have been exes at some point, we also have no idea how old they are and i have a feeling a long life span may lead to a widening of ones taste in partners, i personally don’t think he is being goofy he is actually trying to figure out if it would be a good idea to ask out nicole and Ian, aside from nicole we have not had any confirmation on any ones sexuality other than some one who works at camillies place is a lesbian and that the two hunters who run the bookshop are gay or at least bisexual, heck aside from nicole we have yet to see ian show intrest in anyone and it is possible his being a changling means he has no concept of gender when looking for romance and may like nicole simply because she is a decent, caring person and a wonderful friend, sven may be similar in that he dose not see gender or species, he may not even be after a sexual relationship but a romantic one only and so dose not mind male or female, trans, other and so on, one thing i have seen with this comic is that is likes to showcase a broad range of the sexual and romantic scale in its characters, we already have a hint the door man likes Ian’s MtF sister, also read the authers comment on this page “Basically Sabine can always tell when Sven has a crush on somebody: which is all the time and on all sorts of people. They have time to pay attention by never developing crushes themself.” the use of themself and not herself could indicate that sabine is gender neutral.
apologise for the spelling mistakes i was writing that reply while half asleep and did not notice them untill after i pressed post. >.<
