Great, now we find out that his parents are probably going to have him exorcised or some shit if they ever find out he’s a faerie. also that his sibling is trans, but they haven’t been important so far so eh.
literally every plot point in this series shits all over Ian. come on, chapter, do something nice for Ian.
technically, this one was over irving : ian is financially independant, and they can’t argue that being a faerie is some sort of temporary ‘thing’ like some people do.
Ian doesnt have a calm tranquile life, but neither are most other charcter. And very few events only afect one person.
We notice Ian because he wasnt interrested in the fantastic at all and is pessimistic and a bit closed about the recent event. So the drawback stand out even more.
Sucks for Ian’s parents then.
