7-48: It’s supposed to be dead.
Hm, okay. Hi. So if you also read Sin Pararse or follow me on tumblr you might have seen that my tablet monitor broke. I’m really upset about it because it was expensive and I haven’t even had it that long. I’m back down to one monitor and trying to adjust to using a cheaper graphics tablet again but it’s really hard.
I can’t afford another one either so I’m kind of freaking out.
Anyway I don’t know what I’m going to do if it can’t be fixed. The company I bought it from hasn’t responded to my support requests. I got a pretty good deal on it at $400 but the more expensive ones seem to break nearly as often. Maybe I’ll need to do a fundraiser of some kind? I don’t know. It sucks and I can’t draw much without it. I’m only able to post this page because it was finished weeks ago.
I thought that emo-vampire-boy was killed ages ago? This has been bothering me for a while.
Surely he could have gotten a better weapon than a fire poker. This town seems like there would be at least ONE melee weapons store, and probably a black market for magical wares.
I am guessing that steel probably doesn’t qualify as iron, or at least not to the same extent, and modern melee-weapons are probably steel, or some sort of titanium or something if they are getting really fancy. Well, that wouldn’t apply to the supernatural melee weapons so much, and there may well be a vendor, but it is probably somewhat restricted by the vampires. Actually, given just how few swords there have been, I would doubt that there is one in this town, and most of their business is probably in silver weapons. Fairies just aren’t common enough and active enough for most people to bother with. Stay out of their business and they are mostly content to eat the odd Nai’ka(if they were on the surface prior to “the discovery of magic” then their dietary requirements must be very low, unless someone injures them…) and very occasionally kidnap someone who turns out to have been a fairy all along…
It also seems likely that Greg didn’t exactly have a plan beyond “nobody can detect me so I can just assassinate them without difficulty”. He is probably using chair-legs to murder vampires and doing so quite successfully.
You definitely should consider some sort of fundraiser. The threat of having the supply of comics cut off is enough to stir even lazy lumps like me to action. Personally I wouldn’t want anything out of a fundraiser, just a mechanism to make a donation so you can have things working properly again. (Also, I finally remembered to support you on Patreon. I’m really sorry I didn’t get around to it sooner.)
Blond hair, glasses, red outfit, ambiguous humanity, leaves devastation in their wake through no fault of their own, hunted by all manner of unnatural powers, frequently mistaken for someone cool… So begins the legend of Vash the Stampede!
