There’s probably something wrong with me given how excited I was to break Ian’s nose. I just haven’t drawn anybody with blood all over their face in so long. I love drawing faceblood.
Also holy crap I didn’t think I’d finish this on time.
Man, I should not be this tired. I kinda wish I had an extra day off this week, both of them got eaten up by Christmas and New Years.
I’m still going to try to do two TWIYEH pages this week but it may not be on Wednesday like usual.
Oh and my new books came in. They look fantastic and I think I’m going to get all the future books perfect bound as well. It costs a little more but I think it’s worth it.
This is the first day off I’ve had since last wednesday. So tired.
Oh and I guess Christmas is this weekend. My family does this sort of secular Christmas thing since we’re not religious, though my parents are a lot less into it now than when I was a kid.
We mostly just do presents and dinner.
Speaking of dinner I need to go grocery shopping. I’ve been living on fast food the past three or four days because I haven’t had time to go to the grocery store.
Yay I got this done on time. I had so much to do this morning I was worried I wouldn’t make it.
My derpy batch of books came in. The perfect binding looks fantastic but the pages are in reverse order. The correct ones should be in soon. I have a handful of the saddle stitch ones left, and will be sending those out until I run out of them.
I’m not sure what I’ll do with the derp books. There are 50 of them. I know a lady who makes necklaces out of bottlecaps and magazine clippings, I’ll probably take a couple to her and ask if she can make me some TWIYEH bottlecaps from them. Not sure what to do with the rest of them.
I need to listen to late90s/early00s techno when I’m coloring more often. The highlighting part went super fast. I love how many of these songs are about videogames and are endearingly dated now as a result.
I’m having trouble pencilling though. I keep second guessing myself. Having some confidence issues lately, like I don’t trust my own judgment as to if something looks okay. Yeah.
Oh man it’s playing HelloGoodbye now best Pandora station ever.
I just reordered books again. Looks like the next batch is going to be perfect bound. Nice.
End result is if you have one of the saddle stitched copies they are going to be more rare and I guess a collector’s item or something?
That felt really pretentious to type.
Anyway I still have a small handful of them left. I’ll be shipping them out until the new ones come in.
Also I need to make a new convention banner and a new freebie item. I had bookmarks with Caine on one side and Ian on the other this year. Would you guys rather have bookmarks again (with a different design, of course) or stickers? Or some other thing? It has to be something I can print a whole bunch of really cheap though.
I thought about skipping the Worst Idea page this week since, everyone’s going to be distracted by CV and ignore this. (If you’re reading this I love you <3)
But I already drew all the CV pages so there’s not much of anything for me to do in regards to updating it.
I mentioned on Tumblr the possibility of making a Worst Idea Tarot card deck. I had a little interest. Probably not enough to print such a thing but I might still do art for a few cards anyhow. Soon as I figure out what would go on each card.
